NEWS: Competition Winner / Employee News / F1 Fan Helmets!

We've got a little bit to get through today, let's go...

First of all we'll announce the winner of our "Create-A-Track" competition!

This time we headed to New York and the entries really were fantastic this time around.
So much so, that we have decided there will be 2 winners!

jeansapia sent in an excellent circuit around New York entitled, "Ground Zero Street Circuit" which is tight and twisty with some long straights thrown in for good measure.

fulcaelli sent in an equally brilliant effort entitled "The Nikola Tesla Circuit" which winds it's way through Niagara Falls of all places! fulcaelli also sent in his story behind picking this circuit which may find it's way into a future edition of the MRC e-magazine! ;)

Well done to you both!
You will have your coins sent to you soon and hopefully have both tracks playable in the not-too-distant future!

Also, we here at MRC headquarters would like to thank each and every manager who sent in their circuits - we know you all went to great effort to create your version of the New York circuit but unfortunately we can only have 1 winner... well, 2 in this case!!

F1 Fan Helmets

I've seen quite a few MRC managers in the forums wondering what this was all about as the to-do-list % meter kept rising, quite rapidly too!

Well as most of you know by know it is exactly what it says on the tin...
F1 helmets for F1 team fans! Here's what you need to know!

* All F1 teams can now create their very own fan helmet.

* Those who are fans of an F1 team can now purchase this helmet for 1 coin. You do not have to have a SuperLicence for this function.

* F1 Teams can prepay for helmet packs which will be available for a limited number of users for free - these users will not be able to leave the F1 team fanclub for some time after.

* If you use an F1 team helmet, you cannot leave the F1 team fanclub.

* If you change your helmet to another design you can always go back to use the F1 helmet you had before, but only if that helmet is still the current one used by that F1 team.
If the helmet has been changed by the F1 team, you will need to purchase the new one.

Hiring Employees Update

From this very moment you can no longer fire an employee and have another user hire him straight away! Well you can, but the employee will go for a break straight after being fired and will only come back to the Employee Market when he feels like it!

Employees who are sacked have feelings, just like you.
When they get fired, they normally have some personal issues to resolve before going back to work.

They usually have everything back to normal between 1 hour and 25 hours!

So, no more casual staff trading!
Instead everybody has a chance to pick up a brilliant employee when they become available!
