Last Changes in Track Knowledge

Last Changes in Track Knowledge

After last series of comments to the system of track knowledge gained from Racing Simulator and track experience we came up by last changes in the system to make it fair to everybody. We also will do some more changes in F1 next season and all information about that is also inside this article. As a result it also affects racing in all cars not just F1.

System of racing simulator stays untouched but we did more changes to track experience. From now it is also implemented in the game so you can test the behaviour.
There will be amount of experience gained on track as follows:
- 100% of calculated gain* from season series and rookie series
- 30% of calculated gain* from single F3 races, custom series and trophy of the champions
- 20% of calculated gain* from private cars and motorcycles single races
- 10% of calculated gain* from nations cup and quick races

* calculated gain is based on current track experience and number of laps done on the track in tests.

In addition to this we changed the system of quick races creation and now only tracks where some private cars races are opened can be used for quick races. That means the advantage of possibility to race on some tracks thanks to private cars purchase is reduced to minimum, but manager have to be online and wait for tracks in quick races to be opened on the same track. Also managers which does not spend so much time in this game had some disadvantge in case they would like to gain some track experience on tracks which were used for quick races. This is also now reduced and now they can use purchased private car to participate on same tracks as quick races. So now the system does not give signifficant advantage to any of these 2 manager types.

Changes in F1
We started with ide of changing the tyres characteristics in favour of hard compound to make them more balanced, as we can see in races, that softs were used more often. But in discussion with F1 owners and drivers we found out that now it is about the time to start using 3 different slick compounds as they do in real F1 (soft - red, medium - yellow, hard - white). Two of these 3 compounds have to be used in the race, unless intermediates or wets were used at least once.

In addition to this there will be possibility to change tyre agressivity after each pitstop. This will affect also all other races.
