Introducing Racing Simulator Training

Introducing Racing Simulator Training

Hello everybody. I would like to announce that today we launched new screen in the game, and that is Racing Simulator on the Training page. We already gave some hint that this is comming, and now th time is here. But be aware that this is just a testing phase where you can get the feeling of how it works and at the end of the season all tack knowledge will be erased. Current track knowledge will have no influence on results, it all will start with the begining of new season.

So let me explain few things. There are 2 parameters for track knowledge. One half is simulator knowledge and the other is track experience. Both will have same effect when racing.

Simulator Knowledge can be gained via special training in racing simulator. It will take around 15 days to get from 0 to 100% knowledge where more knowledge means slower progress. On the other side once driver stops to train on the track he will start to loose the knowledge. Decrease is quick above 20% of the knowledge, but very slow when under 5%. Getting to 0% is almost impossible.

Experience Knowledge is little more tricky. In every race driver participates on that track he gains some experience. Of course season series races gives most experience, but all other races gives that too. Altough quick races gives only minimum. Amount of gained experience also depends on number of laps driver does during testing, qualification and race. And when he does not participate in any race on the track for few days, he starts to loose experience.

Influence on the races will be rather small. We don`t want track knowledge to supplement weak skills, but two drivers might decide winner on track based on this knowledge training strategy.

So what happens now? During this season, you can follow the behavior of knowledge training either simulator or experience so you have any idea what to expect when it will be launched next season. We might do some small changes based on your feedback of course :)
