Press Releases - Week 1-2 Recap

Week 1-2 Recap

Hello everyone, this is the (unofficial) recap of MRC, Today we will be taking a look at what happend in the major series (F1,NASC GOLD,FE,INDY,MOTO1)
Notes : i did rush this and didn't pay much attention to the midfield, so F1 is the only one i actually spent time on, the others i just typed who got pole and finishing positions so let's start

FORMULA 1
-Here we are at the season opener, we obviously had driver changes but what was a shock is pinto moving to williams "RedBull fired me and williams offered me a seat so i accepted, pretty simple, but it's probably going to be my last season in F1" said the 2-time world champion Asdrubal Pinto in an interview, but anyways what a season opener this was , especially for Dare Atelsek getting pole in his debut with porsche but his race did not "end" well as he DNFed out of the Grand Prix from P2 after having chassis problems in lap 41 , 9 laps after his teammate DNFed because of other reliability issues. "I think we would of finished on the position from which we retired, so P2 at the end. Sure DNF due to mechanical problem disapoints every driver, but that is part of motorsports" Commented Atelsek
Meanwhile RedBull struggled in the first race with both of their drivers finishing outside the points , really surprising and if anything shocking to see last season's champions doing that bad while their old driver Pinto, which they fired, finished P6 in a williams which is a worse car, but anyways, your winner for the australian GP is Novikov
-Now to the second race in Sakhir International Circuit in bahrain, and this time , we got redbull finally showing thier true pace as they get a front row lockout with Dexter Morgan getting pole and Chloe DeSaint-Germain alongside him in P2 while our last race winner Novikov is starting P10 , our first DNF was from Ferrari's Jarbas who DNFed from the lead due to problems with the chassis which in-turn meant RedBull dominated the race and finished the race with a 1-2 Finish with Morgan winning, DeSaint-Germain 2nd, and Rushman takes the last step of the podium, "Jarbas had a chance to win, as he had one set of fresh hard tyres more then Red Bulls and a more aggressive strategy for the end of the race, but for sure it would had been difficult to pass the Ford of Rushman and both RedBulls of Morgan and Saint Germain" Commented Ferrari's Team Principal after his driver DNFed out of the Grand Prix
-And now we are at race 3 in China, Atelsek gets pole again proving that he is one of the best drivers on the grid, followed by Jarbas in 2nd place trying to get a good result to cover up the ground he lost by DNFing from the 2nd race , and after a fantastic race-long battle, Jarbas takes the win for Ferrari, which made the team really proud of him as his Team Principal said "I'm really proud of him, he won the first race only in his third race as a rookie. He is working very well with the team, we share decisions and strategies and I hope he will stay in Ferrari for a long time", while Atelsek came home in 2nd place "Ferrari are very strong this season and that was no surprise actually. Jarbas was pushing hard from the start and we couldn't pull away enough to stay ahead during the pitstops. He had a slightly faster pitstop as he needed less fuel at that stage, so that was enough already. I think there was not much more we could of done there. If I regret anything, it is that i missed the chance at the end, when I couldn't find a way through with a faster car, as Jarbas picked up some damage." Said Atelsek
-the fourth race will be held in the streets of Baku. DeSaint-Germain gets pole followed by pinto who's unsurprisingly showing great pace, Vaara third, Bum in fifth, atelsek in seventh, and morgan all the way down in tenth, really disapointing as his teammate managed to get pole, and Novikov down in P12. Vaara DNFed after he made a mistake which caused him to lose what possibly could of been a podium, another person who DNFed was morgan who was slowly moving up but a transmission problem ended his race in lap 27, Atelsek DNFed aswell after making a big mistake, seems like luck hasn't been nice to him so far. But its Bum who wins the race, DeSaint-Germain finished second while Novikov finishes third
