MRC F1: The Equalizer
The Equalizer
What now? Are you talking about that movie with Denzel Washington? Well, no. The Equalizer is the name I give to define the best F1 driver in both overtaking and not being overtaken! How does that work you ask? Simply add the number of overtakes a driver made during a race divided by the number of times that driver was overtaken in the same race, repeat in all F1 races to obtain a final result. The best driver in that area gains the title of...The Equalizer! ;)
So you think your driver can overtake and block!? Well let’s take a look see shall we!? I gathered the overtaking data from S28 until now. Why not go back for more seasons? Because beginning in S28 F1 started having 21 Grand Prix, while prior to that there were only 20, so it wouldn’t be a fair assessment. You can see the full results below, and you can see the season by season results in the spreadsheet if you like.
Moves Up = Average Number of Overtakes Made During the Season
Moves Down = Average Number of Times Overtaken During the Season
Finished AVG = Average Position the Driver Finished In Each Race During the Season
Overtake +/- = The Difference Between the Number of Overtakes made & the Number of Times the Driver was Overtaken

Note: This only uses the successful overtakes, it does not account for all overtake attempts, unfortunately that would be an immense amount of work to do manually making it near impossible. Hopefully Debik can implement the Overtake and Blocking percentage suggestion in the game, that would be neat! ;)
Note II: I also put the drivers average finish in the results for us to see how they did in terms of pure pace.
