Press Releases - How to make a Good pit crew

How to make a Good pit crew

There are 8 critical positions to make a good pit crew.. there are 2 more positions that are slightly less ..

For the 8 critical pit crew mechanics you need to spend 10k each for these guys..

That give you a skill from 70-75 on these positions.. Now these guys are good enough to win series like Indy Jr or Supercar series they need some moretime to get good enough for Tougher series with more piting.

the 2 mechanics not critical but who help more then the Tire carriers only need to be about 5k each..

The last 8 the tire carriers you do not need unless your running Indy or more importantly Gold Cup.. these 8 guys only need to be added then they can be of some use at 30 skill that costs 3k each per week..

I did not mention which ones are more vital on purpose.. I want the new players to hit advice a few time and dig ask question and read forum..

So there are 10 positions you need to fill 8 @ 10k each 2 @ 5k each.. with those skill level your pits will run from 7-9 sec on most races.. to get lower like 5 secs needed to win Indy and Gold cup those mechanic need much more skill and cost more. around 15k each.. But my example costs 110k per week.. Sure you could go to 50k but you will have to replace that pit crew before racing any 2.0 series and have any chance of winning..

If your just racing to make be competitive then race whatever pit crew.. But I race to win.. I spent 105k for my pit crew my normal pit time is 7 Sec.. that is Normally 5 seconds faster then the field.. Normally means I pass 2 cars every race from faster pitting. that I might not been able to pass..

Monte Carlo is no pass track almost all moves up down or passing occurs in the pits.

For new players until you are racing above 1.0 you need zero Mechanics! But hit advice any way for mechanics and you will start learning the critical pit crew locations!
