Driver Brady Takes a Moment With Press To Reveal New NASC Livery, Discuss Results
Driver Brad Brady flew into Cayuga in preparation for the NASC Canada event to be staged in a few days. After setting a few hot laps in testing, Brady took a break to talk to the press.
The first question on everyone's mind is Brady thoughts on his season. "A complete failure. Sure, we made long strides in all of our programs, even scoring our first win in a long time, but, someone other than us will be leaving Cayuga a champion and if you ask me, that signifies our failure as a whole." Brady told reporters, clearly displeased with his 6th place points standings.
Brady was then asked what he'd like to see in the future. "A championship." He jokes before turning serious. "I think the schedule should jump to at least 28 or so races and I'd like to see a playoff system similar to the Nascar Xfinity Series implicated. It would make the racing around 12th-16th a lot more interesting." Brady said.
Finally, Brady unveiled his brand new livery- a sleek Ford featuring a gradient design that goes from black at the rear to white at the front. "This beauty right here is my new chariot that will hopefully lead me past (Martin) Triskos several times next season. Brady also had a message for the retiring Joseph Brady "I'd like to thank Joseph for inspiring me to come up here from the Gold Cup just to spank his butt. Joseph, goodbye. Enjoy the L." Brady said, referencing the brief, but nasty spat the two frenemies had in Seasonsize 30-31 that saw the two clash on and off the track several times. Joseph announced his retirement via Twitter and has joined Mike Blue Racing to serve as a technical advisor.
