Driver Brady Addresses Lull In Recent Performances, Announces Season 32 Plans
After yet another mediocre qualifying run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway resulted in a 30th place starting position for the upcoming Gold Cup Series Race, driver Brad Brady took a moment from his schedule to speak with the press.
When asked about his performance, Brady merely shrugged his shoulders and stated he was not concerned. "As a team, we are constantly experimenting with our setup and how we approach the race weekend. As a driver I do this often with practice, testing ,simulations and in the race. At this level, if you aren't willing to try something new to improve your performance, you should get out of the big boys' way because we're here to win. As far as the less aggressive approach, that is something I felt would help me finish more races. Add that to the ever increasing talent in the filed and slight misfortunes here and there and it's a miracle we're still mid pack." At the time of this, Brady sits 25th in points.
When asked about his Season 32 plans, Brady was blunt."As a team ,we are not at the level we expect to be, so we'll be taking a step back into Canada to reassess our program as a whole while strengthening our foundation. The expectation there will to be win early and often until we feel confident in our talent level to run at the top. Until then, we'll try to finish this season as cleanly as possible." Brady said before returning to his car to complete some practice for the upcoming race.
