Joseph Brady Announces Plan to Race In NASC Canada For "At least the next two seasons"
Coming off a strong qualifying effort at the Riverside Oval in Canada, driver Joseph Brady wasted no time in declaring his plans for the next couple of season. "I'll be in Canada for at least the next two seasons. I want to win a championship in this series and I believe it is possible." Brady said. Brady currently sits tied for third with veteran Marc Griffin.
"This season has exceeded my expectations, which were high. I intend on winning the championship this season. That is the goal. It's not likely, but it will remain the goal." Brady doubled down on his commitment. Despite his comments, Brady sits within striking distance of points leader Martin Triskos. When asked about whether or not he could beat Triskos any time soon, Brady was blunt. "I'll beat Triskos when he retires. Have you seen the races? He's head and shoulders above me. If he wanted to, he could easily win a couple of races in Gold Cup quickly." He said. He also backed up earlier comments about his motivations for waiting to move to Gold Cup. "The long term is Gold Cup, but I want to win a championship here. I also don't want to fight, scratch and claw for 25th every week. I would rather develop my skills, resume and come in ready to exceed expectations." Brady said.
