Press Releases - Correa and Ochs to stay with Porsche for another season

Correa and Ochs to stay with Porsche for another season

At Porsche we are pleased to announce that we managed to extend both drivers for another season.

Bruno Correa and Domi Ochs have both done a great job in past two season and they both continue to impress in season 32. Together we have managed to establish Porsche Racing as the third best team and both drivers have become one of the best in business.

However, all good things must come to an end and for us that time will come at the end of season 33. Although we have come a long way in last 10 seasons, we still are not at a point where we can challenge for trophies. Therefore, both drivers have expressed their wish to find a new challenge before retirement and they both want to give an opportunity to new drivers to race in Formula 1 with a competitive car.

That means Porsche Racing will feature completely new driver line-up for season 34. As in our past we want to stay clear from established Formula 1 drivers. We will rather give opportunity to drivers that have never had a privilege to race in series that is regarded as a pinnacle of motorsport.
