AUDI F1 e-Tron Legacy serie - overview
Today 37 F3 drivers were in Melbourne to start their journey in the "AUDI F1 e-Tron Legacy" serie, the first of three kind of competitions that will be presented this season by Audi F1 e-Tron team. "It is a good oportunity to see some very interesting drivers" - said Audi F1 General Manager Max Del Ragno - "and this serie will help to show the new Audi F1 project all around the World".
Let's have a look at the drivers in pipeline. First pole-position was taken by S. Szalonna while second place was for B. Jarbas. Szalonna and Jarbas are two of the best under 25 international drivers and probably they will fight in next years for a F1 seat, maybe in Audi. In third and fourth place we find the Australian idol C. Phiter and "iceman" M.H. Holm. Phiter and Holm are very expert and consistent pilots who recently joined the Audi F1 equipe. 5th place for a very young and surpricing P. Carlotti, 6th for A. Solernao from Argentina (another new Audi F1 pillar). Other mention for Nemeth (9th) and Beccaro (10th), the two "fast and furious guys". The Rookie Champion Beccaro showed an impressive Audi F3 livery and seems to be ready for a race in the top ten. Italian young guns Cestelli, Dutto, Cavallo, Trulli, Nero and Meoni will fight with Russian Diomedov, Sobolev, Cherenev representing the two countries with most drivers.
The "e-Tron Legacy serie" will touch all the countries of Audi F1 shareholders while drivers will race to win a total prize money of 100 coins offered by Audi e-tron brand
