Press Releases - Two Drivers Time? suggestion
Two Drivers Time? suggestion
I see your point Mobeer,
I think I would tackle this differently.
As I see it there are two main objectives.
One is for new managers, who knows nothing and are faced with a learning curve that is steep ahead.
I get the European model.
Secondly is for more experience managers to keep the basic game interesting.
My suggestion is :
New managers (new players to the game) same as today, just one driver for the first 2 seasons. For seasons 3 and 4 free full licences.
All managers who have 4 seasons experience can have two drivers pay full first licence for driver 1 and 10% licence price for second driver. Second driver counts for 0.5% manager's experience.
Suddenly we created a dynamic situation instead of a linear situation for the managers. !! All at the same time.
If I may.
This does not addressed the 'boring' or 'frustrating' aspects of the game.
For this I would suggest:
- Restricting pre-race time warm-ups, does anyone really set a wake up alarm 15 minutes before race time? ... At 06:00 hr?
The warm up should be allowed within 'x' hours before the race, perhaps with a decreasing weather vs time accuracy.
- Offering an "advanced program" where drivers could get into learning on different topics within the same 24hr period?
I worked as game competitor award organizers for grants in Canada. And only wish to help.
Two Drivers Time?
The problem I see in encouraging new managers is that their driver will either be uncompetitive early on, or start badly in order to become competitive later. Therefore I would allow a new manager 2 drivers (only if they wish); a default 24-year old ...
