Press Releases - F3 Masters Season 30 Preview
F3 Masters Season 30 Preview
Just a quick preview before the lights go out...
3rd season of the F3 Masters is going to get underway tonight and every season it gets more competitive ever and ever, drivers come and go and we got drivers who have been there since the start and are hungrier to take home to main trophy, adding a championship to their name...
Bartek Szybki is clearly the favourite to bring it home but Marc Vilanova is looking forward to carry on his dangerous looking late season form last year so the Pole isn't save this time round and he will certainly have to fight for it, Steve Villeneuve and newcomer Dexter Morgan are two guys with some serious blistering pace, they aren't joking around you know. If any disasters happens to those 4 then Marc Montane will most certainly be in the fight, he's finished all 10 races in the last 2 season, took home both Mr. Consistent awards and he's looking good to take his maiden race win as well, then the guys after, Alex Reis, Zach Austin, Juca Macieira are potential race winners as well but if they want to be title contenders then they got a couple of stuff to sort out before they can fight for the title by winning races in a consistent basis like those guys, Mack Zaggro, the young Brit, very underrated, he is looking good as well for his best season yet. Two drivers looking to put last season behind, Paolo Nannini, who won a race the season before, struggled to score points regularly and Angel Holguera who regularly scored points the season before, scored none. Michael Damon Novikov, the young Russian, way younger than his older rivals impressed the paddock with his blistering pace and rapid development, keep an eye out on him, he's defintely going to win the championship in a few seasons time, the U24s, U22s and U19s championships are looking to heat up as well, especially the U22s with the likes of Reckziegel, Pasek and Szasz looking to be the favourites, U19s have saw alot more drivers who are currently 18, Max Ginther, Nadio Portocarrero, the young Portugese maiden being mentored by GT legend Antonio Monteiro, Dan Daniel and Helio da Matta Jr.
Other Comments:
JordiMontane: 'If Szybki and Vilanova are on form it's between them two. I think Villeneuve and Morgan are a little too inconsistent.'
BradleyBundy: '5 guys can win Vilanova, Szybki, Villeneuve, Morgan,Montane. There is Novikov, too young, Maceira, Reis, Holguera, and Austin with consistency issues. Should be an explosive top 10. Have a feeling of more high end Dnf's. Should be interesting.'
We will start at Pau as usual, and Marc Vilanova will lead the field alongside Dexter Morgan after he put in a blistering lap to qualify on pole, Bartek Szybki and Alex Reis on the second row, Michael Damon Novikov in 5th, a stellar qualifying by him, shoutout to Bartolomeu Jarbas and Honzik Volak Jr. for putting in decent laps, Steve Villeneuve made a mistake in Sector 2 and was out of the running for pole and will start 7th, he'll be one to watch as he can climb his way back up the field, Juca Macieira as well, he's struggled at Pau last season mind, he starts 17th, Zach Austin as well down in 22nd, Paulo Ricardo Mentho and Reeves Callaway at the last row after their qualifying woes. See you at 8 for what looks like to be a stunning start to a stunning season.
