Press Releases - Andriy Mlynariv and Tony Hoffmann to race for Ferrari on season 30
Andriy Mlynariv and Tony Hoffmann to race for Ferrari on season 30
The Italian team has closed the agreements as soon as possible and the occupants of the two seats are already known for next season.
It was quick, as the Scuderia wants to be from next season. In the first week of competition, nicorz managed to complete negotiations with Mlynariv and Brazilian driver Hoffmann to race with the team in 64 days, when the 30th season in Melbourne begins.
Mlynariv will complete his third season at Ferrari, while Hoffmann will enter as a new driver on Formula One. The team manager expects the two drivers to perform at the same time as the car so they can help to achieve those results that they crave from the Maranello factory.
"Without any doubt, we are lucky to have two great drivers as Andriy and Tony are. I think they will be a good lineup, they are very competitive and even though we would need Mlynariv on any way, the first reason why I wanted his renoval was this season's car pace (laughing). I hope that we get a good atmosphere inside the team, as I said they are very quick, but if they join forces and there aren't any internal problems, I am sure that if development ends well we will get very good results" - nicorz said after making the announcement, using his usual joking tone.
As the season progresses, I will keep giving you more details on the team as I have been doing since 2 seasons ago, although I will give important information about a new project on the team's future.
