Press Releases - Young Russian takes the podium

Young Russian takes the podium

Yesterday was a big day for 18 Year old Russian driver, with him taking the podium first time in his career, in a season series in the 18th race of the season.
The whole team celebrated the podium like it was a win. The young driver took 5th place in the standings and he is beating at the moment few drivers who are older and more experienced then him, and he is beating the son of an 4x Time World Champion SatF1.

Race was eventful, we saw lot of crashes, mechanical issues, driver mistakes and extra pit stops, but young Matveyev was able to drive a clean race and took a best position in his career.

He has improved so much during the season, driving over 8 times in top 5 and 16/18 times in top 10, which is the highest amount of top 10 achieved this season, (Sharing that accomplishment with another driver)

He was quite confused tonight after waking up, this might have been the reason.

2 Races to go and I do hope that everybody will cheer on the young Russian to take 5th in the standings, with very good luck maybe 4th because "He is Russian and he is here to fight"
