Press Releases - 10-Way Series / Seasons Greetings
10-Way Series / Seasons Greetings
Exactly 3 weeks stand between now and the start of the third instalment of the 10-Way Series. Recently expanding from the 5-Way Series, the new format has provided tight battles, created new rivalries, and always gone down to the wire in one way or another.
The most recent series saw multiple battles between countries fighting to another season in Class A, and the right to join them from Class B. Australia lead Brazil by 1 point going into the final race, but the Season 24 champions went back to their best to send the Aussies back to the second tier.
Speaking of the second tier, less than 50 points separated 2nd to 4th, with the winner advancing to Class A with Canada. It was Germany who got the choccies over Portugal and Russia thanks mostly to the work of Domi Ochs, who scored a whopping 851 points out of a possible 960 through 30 days of racing.
For those hearing about the series for the first time, 10 countries with 8 drivers across 2 classes. Each season, the bottom 2 countries from Class A get swapped with the top 2 countries from Class B, whilst the bottom team in Class B is eliminated and replacing without another country ready to take the challenge. This season, that country is Spain, currently 2nd in the Nations Cup this season.
Countries accumulate points the same way constructors score points, based on where their drivers finish. The higer you finish, the more points you score.
However, the only way teams can be docked points is if the rating of the 8 drivers combined exceeds 12,000.000 on the specified day.
Whilst Season 26 is already set up and ready to go, soon there will be some news announcing the opportunity for your country to join the big dance. That piece of news will come during next season. So keep an eye out here and on the 10-Way Series forum (link below) if you're interested!
Also attached below is the spreadsheet for the series. It has the 2 previous 10-Way Series that have already been run and won. They have the points accumulated by drivers, all the tracks used (2 per country) and much, much more.
For any questions or queries, chuck me a message anytime, either by PM or on the forum. I'd love to get in touch with new people who are interested in participating!

Also, I'd like to take a quick moment as F1 Commissioner to wish everybody a happy, safe, and memorable Christmas and New Year! I'd also like to include those in our community currently celebrating Hanukkah, and that all good fortunes reach out to you and everybody else during this period and in the New Year!
I'd also like to quickly spare a thought to those suffering in the middle east, notably Syria and Iraq. It's beyond unimaginable the challenges these people have to face on a daily basis. Let's hope these countries find peace as soon as possible for the opportunity to live life to its fullest.
All in all, I hope everybody stays safe over the next weeks, and enjoy a memorable end to 2017.
Regards,
Dylan - LittleMLO :)
