While North American F2 championship has left US fans quietly disappointed as in most season.. They Finally found something to Cheer about Today.

They had had Hopes US top driver in this event would be contending for the championship but Thet was totally lost last weekend at Ponce after Foyt Qualified 4th there and DNFed both races..

This week Foyt qualified 9th and only managed 6th in the sprint.. So Rene Atkins went to local radio station In Florida covering the race at Sebring and convinced the announcer to Play Mojo Rising every time Foyt Passes the driver.. He said sure how many times could he possibly Have to play The Doors "Mojo Rising".

The evening Before the Race Rene played Mojo Rising for the Crew and stated this is Our Them song for this Race..
She Let Terry Wilson The Owner know what she had done.. They made a change in pit strategy instead of 1 pit or No pit in Sebring the would gamble with a 2 pit strategy even though top teams we faster in pit crews.

The Race started Lap 1 Foyt Passed T Anderson Mojo Rising was played and Pumped into Foyts Helmet.. Lap 2 Foyts Passed T Davies sound had not even finished.. The Crew Began singing Mojo Rising and and some of the Crowd Listening to the radio..

Foyt Passed T Lagorce Lap 3 now was Clearly heard around the track.. Lap 4 A Poucette For second Now Crowd was Clearly into it Roaring Mojo Rising, Rising, Rising!
Lap 5 Foyt Passed Bennett And roared and Cheered Mojo Rising.. Before Door song could finish playing Once Foyt went from 6th to first..

Foyt Pitted on lap 13 with 5.935 lead but fell all the way to 7th.. Lap 14 Foyt Passed R Larson and again the Radio played and Crowd began sing Mojo Rising on Lap 18 when rest pited the first time Foyt was in the lead again.

Foyt Pitted on lap 23 with lead but it was clear not nearly far enough ahead to win.. when He came out pits was in 4th.. Foyt passed T Davies on lap 26 again the music of the Doors was Played ... Lap 27 Davies Passed Foyt Before the music could even Stop Foyt Passed Davies again on lap 27 and The Crowd sung Mojo rising as Poucette took checkered Bennett took Second and Foyt took 3rd..

The Music must help Vickers another US driver as well as he went 16Th to 6th during the Race.
