Q/A: Good past, present about to get better

Wilsean Dahir enjoyed a successful season at the F3 Dutch Series, finishing 7th in the championship, finishing 17 races out of 20, 15 inside the top 10, 7 in the top 5 and 3 races on the podium (all at Zandvoort), and was a regular podium contender at most times, almost winning Race 18 at Zandvoort after a tight battle with Gert Van Der Garde and Arthur de Rooij Jr.
Rebecca Southworth joins in with the young Djiboutian-Brit as he looks back then goes forward to his stint in the F3 Benelux Series.
Rebecca: So Wilsean, in 3 words how do you describe your time in the Dutch Series?
Wilsean: Fun, exciting and competitive
R: What was your highest point?
W: Has to be the penulmate weekend at Zandvoort, finishing on the podium both races! Fighting for the win at one point, it would've been harder if Gert and Ayrton (Broc) didn't take eachother out! The 2nd race was alot better than my 2nd
R: Lowest point?
W: Has to be either Zolder and another weekend at Zandvoort, I was completely off the pace at Zolder and at Zandvoort, I lost the good setup completely, a ride height problem in Race 1 and then Race 2 I struggled to get past cars. I was about to say Croix-en-Ternois, in terms of pace I wasn't that bad but I crashed out of both races because I was pushing a little too hard, oopsies...
R: So now, you move to the Benelux Series, same tracks but a little higher and more competitive, what do you expect out of them races?
W: Well, either my results will be the same or a little higher due to the fact I'm improving always on my driving and mental skills.
R:You also get to see Bartje Verstappen, Raphael Val and Wayne Wilson again!
W: Tell them I'll be back for revenge, I've already finished Raphael anyways (laughs), but I think he wants a rematch with me again.
R: Also fellow Englishman Leo Brianson...
W: Then it'll be a battle between the Englishmen, oh wait, I have to sort out two battles at once then.
R: You already finished Quali, you will start 4th, tell us about your quali and what are your expectations for the races?
W: The first lap, I was fastest in the first sector then the rest of the lap turned out to be bad.
The second lap was average, I couldn't repeat that beautiful first sector, otherwise it would've been good enough for a top 3.
For the race, I'm expecting to take a win or a full house, 2nd race will turn out to be wet, so I feel more than ready!
R: Ok, I'll leave you now, I don't have time, see ya and good luck for the race!
W: Cheers!

Tune in for F3 Benelux Series opener at 18:00 CEST and we will see if Wilsean can start his season with a bang!
