[F1] WAR - Outperforming ourselves and smiling at S19

Huge congratulations to Novikov and Jordan for winning the title in S18. It was a major feat to step over dominant Red Bull Vaillante. Extended thumbs up for McLaren, who despite not managing to hold the title challenge until the end, proved very consistent and won the Team's Championship. Most of all, we are truly happy to have taken part in such a fun and competitive season, with not only the tile being decided in the last race but also with plenty of mid-tier positions being battled till the very last lap.

As for WAR, we feel we've had an amazing season. Still encumbered by undeveloped mechanical parts, massively handicapping our potential performance, we really have outperformed our capabilities. Despite facing stronger opposition in comparison with last season, our drivers managed to score on the same 5 occasions. We were sitting in the 8th place in the Team's Championship when a truly chaotic race provided enough points for Ferrari and Trabant to throw us 2 places down. We still kept on adding points to the table and until the very last lap of the season we were on the brink of re-overtaking Trabant. This was a good season for WAR, despite not looking so in the standings.

SEASON 19, WAY OF THE GEARBOX
Season 19 is another season that we really look forward too. With every team needed to equip new gearboxes and just like when the new engine rules triggered, WAR will be able to make another significant leap towards closing the gap to the teams ahead. Our gearbox is fully operational and we have reasons to believe it will outperform most of the others. Our aerodynamic parts are also improving in comparison to this season's part. Almost a week away from the start of the season, we can't wait for it to begin! We also take the opportunity to disclosure our colors for next season:

RUI B. MARTINS RETIRES, LAMY COMES HOME
Rui B. Martins is retired from the motor sport world. He had a career to make him proud, prone to be remembered for seasons to come, and helped WAR in many ways, scoring 7 points for the team over 3 seasons and playing an important part in the team's finances. We wish him the best of luck in the upcoming new stage in his life. Replacing him is a driver we were long eager to see racing with WAR colors: José Pedro Lamy, managed by former manager of the team Blazfp, now only a symbolic shareholder with no active part in the team's activity. He's one of the most talented drivers around and we are very lucky to be able to have him in our ranks.
After making an impressive F1 debut, Johnny Da Costa Jr will continue to race for WAR. His 7 points scored last season surpassed his predecessor mark and were achieved in tougher competitive conditions. May he continue with us for many seasons.

THE WAR COMMUNITY
The brasilian community gathering around WAR and offering help has been impressive. We are most thankful for having you guys!
We'll keep doing our best to engage every fan and help them improve their MRC experience! It also can actually help us be more competitive. One of the things you can do to help us is by collecting voting points and donating them to us. It's absolutely free and can make all the difference. Check out our new Voting Points contest that will reward those donations.
