Eerste overwinning Dave S. is een feit!!

Na de kwalificatieronden in het Amerikaanse Lorel Hill(rookie-reeks) waarbij D.S. een 1ste en 2de tijd neerpootte op de tabellen, mocht hij zich naast de pole-position van Fernando Alonso nestelen. Vanaf de start legde hij de Spanjaard het vuur aan de schenen zodat hij in de 2de ronde de leiding overnam en op 2 fouten na de volledige wedstrijd uitreed na 1 pitstop en met meer als een volledige ronde voorsprong op Alonso. Zowel de crew,monteurs als de coureur waren dan ook volledig in hun nopjes na deze overwinning.
