Press Releases - Why Wais Vé Kuba walked away from FPM8? FPM8 finds new driver

Why Wais Vé Kuba walked away from FPM8? FPM8 finds new driver

There was Jon Starr who had retired from racing due to failing to find a new manager after baylorfan died of a heart attack. Now Wais Vé Kuba fell into a disagreement with FPM8 and has walked out of the door.

After Sonoma Qualifying, FPM8 wasn't happy with his qualifying peformance and Wais said 'Wait til the race...' But however FPM8 wasn't happy and became impatient that he forced Wais to walk out the door and is now currently without a manager, however it has affected him. We don't know what's next for Kuba, either he faces retirement, either he finds a new manager.

FPM8 said that 'I want to be someone who can succeed, Wais was good but not as good has I wanted to see on track. I just want someone who can be successful with me.'

However, he managed to find a new young driver, a young refugee from Djibouti, who races under a British Nationality, his name is Wilsean Dahir. Wilsean already got the jump start, getting out of karts to win his first race. He managed to win 18 more which included a pole and domination on only his first rookie series race at Anderstorp. In the 2nd race, he had a huge scare that the two guys behind him would overtake him but they took each other out allowing Kuba to relax and take another commanding win. He missed out on a grand chelem due to someone else taking the fastest lap of the race and pitted one lap earlier before everyone else. Something that most of the known rookies (or ex-rookies) couldn't do but the grand chelem was impossible but winning both races and a pole was really unexpected to be done but at least he did it.

FPM8 said that 'Wilsean is bloody quick and intelligent driver, I realised that he is the right driver, he's not consistent, what would you expect? But in a couple seasons time, he'll be one of the best and I won't lie. He also enjoys working on his car during his spare time. Racing is inside his blood. He's been doing karting and rocked since he was 5. He has an aggressive driving style and drives well in the wet like Wais does. He does better in races than in qualifying, 24 poles and 19 wins, statistics lies all the time. Just watch him do his thing and you'll respect me for telling the possible truth.'

Can Wilsean Dahir be the next big thing?
