Press Releases - Off the Track Scuff Costs Team Owner Some Cash as Staci Evans Rages!

Off the Track Scuff Costs Team Owner Some Cash as Staci Evans Rages!

The owner and manager of the F3 35 car Loyal W has decided his driver needs some training in Public Relations after on off the track incident last weekend.
The MidWest Post reports on the incident and the responses.

MWP: Loyal, your driver Staci Evans got into some trouble at a photo shoot for a sponsor last weekend. What is your take on the incident, was it as bad as the rumors, or like most rumors was it played up a bit?

Loyal: Yeah…well umm..yeah. It was pretty bad. The sponsor who will remain nameless asked her to show some more leg and get kind of well provocative in a photo shoot. That angered Staci some. Let’s just say she showed them what RAGE in team Rage stands for when she knocked over some set lighting, broke a camera, and maybe or maybe not had a photographer limping off of the set.

MWP: So the fines, and possible charges are happening then?

Loyal: We will pay the fines for her as she is our driver, but some of the other sponsors have decided she needs to attend anger management, public relations classes, and issue an apology publicly. Let’s just say she will do two of the three things they asked.

MWP: So no apologies then?

Loyal: You guessed it. Rage does not mind that she wants to be known for racing and she has no desire to be a pin up or poster girl. She wants to race and win. She only does the photo shoots and things, because she wants to give back to her fan base and she knows sponsors put money in the team so she can continue to race. We hope to get her a little more trained up in the Public Relations soon, and keep events like last weekend just that, a thing of the past.

MWP: How much did last weekend cost the 35 team if you could put a number to it?

Loyal: We lost a lower level sponsor, have to pay a photographer some money to go away and stay away, and replace some equipment. Let’s just say Staci Evans will see no driver bonus check at the end of the year, and she will keep her job as long as we all keep this behind us. Rage again appreciates that she has values, but a simple no thanks instead of making a photographer beg for mercy would be a good start.

The MidWest Post reporter also added that he observed the team in the garage all kidding around and laugh as they worked as he was leaving. He could hear the team Race Engineer Alexandr Andrushenko calling driver Staci Evans slugger as she walked into the garage and faked falling over holding his man parts as he fell to the ground pretending to cry.
