Press Releases - Harvey to park the car

Harvey to park the car

Trevor Harvey's manager, LittleMLO, has confirmed Trevor Harvey will complete his 6th full season will be his last. The manager was available for words as he arrived in. Brussels to prepare for the final round of the F3 Benelux Series, in which Harey leads by 20 points coming into the final round at Spa-Francorchamps.
Reporter: MLO! How is Trevor preparing for his last 2 series races?
LittleMLO: The same as any other.
Reporter: Spinette got the better at Zandvoort and cut the margin to 20. With his LOL chassis expected to reign supreme in the Ardennes Forest, what will you do to combat this advantage?
LittleMLO: We were well quicker at this circuit than everyone excluding Riky Rosti, who isn't a threat to the title. We'll wait and see how much has changed since our last races here.
Reporter: Who's decision was it for Harvey to retire? What factors led to this decision?
LittleMLO: The thing that concerned me when I hired Harvey was his age, and it has now caught up to him. Our new driver, Lucas Cayayan, is a youngster about to turn 18, and we're giving him a contract for his birthday.
Reporter (to Harvey): What has been your grandest memory in your career and what is the plan for your life after motorsport?
Trevor Harvey: My greatest memory, no doubt, was my most recent victory at Phakisa GP where I held off some pretty top notch drivers in Rocco Rapido and Miecszlaw Gnojarzowski. I'm sure my manager would have been a bit more vocal if he were still a shareholder at HamrHedZ! Another strong memory was my first podium in Season 8 at the final F3 Aus race of the year in Adelaide, as well as notching up my first ever win in the opening round of the F3 Dutch Series, overtaking Joling at the last corner at Zandvoort. That was really cool.
Reporter: And what were your plans after you finish racing?
Harvey: I'll definently let my presence be felt. I'll be assisting Lucas when he jumps into the car next season on of the new F3 Series! He's currently doing exams back home so that needs to be done before he heads up to Europe. He'll be a future star for sure.
It was now time to say seeya later as the team members of Rage Motorsport congratulated him as they continued onwards toward a waiting minivan, as the entire team headed off to the hotel just near the circuit for the afternoon.
