Press Releases - Maines on the up!

Maines on the up!

The final race of F3 Asia finished earlier today and Biguel Maines did what he had to do and finished in the top 10 on a tricky wet/dry race meaning he secured 3rd place in the series.

Only last week Maines did what his predecessor Miguel Baines could not. That was to get a trophy for finishing in the top 3 of a series and now he has his second in a week with this season series cup.

Baines. We're you pleased with your overall position in F3 Asia?
Yes and no. Yes because I was pleased with my results compared to last season meaning I secured my 3rd place.
No because if my agents were quicker I wouldn't be in this series and I would be in a bigger series winning bigger prizes.

So what next? You have already succeeded Miguel Baines?
Well there is one more achievement to aim for and that is top spot in the UK as Baines once did which I think isn't to far away for me.
As for the series next season I think I'm ready for the indy series as I have learnt from Baines's mistakes but my agents are scouting the F2 series as it will benefit my career more with the experience. Whatever comes my way I will tackle it.

Is there anyone you will be aiming to compete with?
As always we will always be in battle and that is Ray Striver. I'm not sure who is waiting for who to make the first move but no doubt we will end up next to each other in the series, on the grid and on the podium.

And your manager iHealy also owns the F1 team Windsor Alliance Racing who came a respected 6th this season. Is there a seat there for you?
No way. I wouldn't have the experience to race in such a series yet and not sure of the future of iHealy and WAR F1.
