[F1] Windsor Alliance Racing - a first season to be proud off

The first season of MRC's F1 is now over and it was an experience to remember! Understanding and predicting the game as it went on was a massive rollercoaster. But at WAR we hold on tight and loved the ride!!!

This is a great team to be part off. Shareholders have so many different personal knowledges and skills and that became an amazing asset - individuals do what they do best adding value to the decisions and in the end the team wins. In our private forum, 11 shareholders produced over 1.500 posts in 77 days. That's around 20 posts daily!!! This great communication and hard work were key to the success of elevating the WAR from the 11th ranked/budget team to an amazing 5th place in the rankings in the F1 debut.

An uncharted territory
In this first season in F1, nobody knew what to expect. Where to spend the money? What to develop and how? What drivers and how much to pay them? What tactics to use on any given race? WAR is thrilled to have made very few mistakes along the way. We're proud of the car we pieced together with so much less resources than the top teams. When the races begun, we were there consistently on the top10 places. It was an amazing feeling for the team. As the season carried on, we kept consistently making decisions that kept us competitive while also preparing for season 10. WAR definitely didn't get lost in the way.

Our drivers deliver
Tok and Di Rado were amazing to carry our ideas and hard work into the track. We handpicked these guys, believing they would add great value to the team. And even featuring the youngest driver in F1, we're certain to have made the right choices here too. They were great to discuss tactics and listen to our ideas. And they were fast!!!! Thank you guys!

Results matter
Windsor finished 6th in the Constructor's Championship. Again, it is a great result for the 11th best budget in the game. In the beginning, we realistically set our goal to always do better than the team ahead of us the the ranking. We made so much better than that, scoring 101 points with 1 podium, 5 finishes in the top 5 and consistently grabbing 18 top 10 finishes.

Congratulations to Odissea Martini Racing
You did really well guys! Odissea also made amazing things with a mid place budget. A top car with some top drivers to speed it up turned this debut season into a monologue. They were dominant throughout the season, winning the team prize and turning Acarini into the first F1 champion. Congrats to Acarini, too!

Season 10 - Unveiled territory
Now, every team knows what to expect. WAR kept it's pace and we'll be working hard to become even better. We keep out trust in Tok and Di Rado to make our car fly. Our goal is still to be better than the team ahead of us. But we're always eager for more. Expect great things from WAR next season!
