NASC truck driver C. Anderson fined and parked for first lap incident
At the start of the most recent NASC truck series race at daytona, a crash ensued entering turn 1 where Tremblay collided with Anderson. Anderson hit the wall head on with no other drivers involved. The caution flag waved, Anderson came around under yellow and pulled in front of Tremblay and proceeded to brake check him and move to let him by, but then as tremblay went to reclaim the position he belonged in, Anderson turned into him, sending Tremblay crashing into inside grass. Anderson was parked and called to the NASC hauler, and was later fined 750,000 dollars. After being kicked out of the hauler, one of the officials yelled "IF YOU PULL A STUNT LIKE THAT AGAIN YOU ARE OUT." Of course Anderson was infuriated, when interviewed he said some "choice words." Anderson has gotten an additional 17.5k fine. Anderson is under a probation from the sanctioning body. The fans were having mixed reactionss, and it is said that one fan was running towards Anderson when he successfully fought his way through the crowd to exit the facility.
