Press Releases - Landing in MRC. Part One.

Landing in MRC. Part One.

I landed in MRC soon 2 seasons ago, early t49. I will briefly outline, there is no need to make a Vademecum on the subject, the most important sections of the game that I (humbly) think should be improved from the point of view of a person who does not know the game.
Most of you veterans who have been here for many years are already "socialized" and your view of the game probably differs greatly from the view of the newcomer, as is the case with me.
I hope this constructive criticism helps improve this excellent game. For now I will only raise 2 problems and their respective solutions, always from the point of view of a user who has no idea of programming.
Here we go:

Problem 1.- You have just landed and the first thing you have to do is set up a pilot. And just starting what you decide with the pilot has no going back. The name, the choice of attributes,... And you probably soon realize that you have not chosen correctly.

Solution 1a.- A step-by-step manual should be given that clearly explains the importance of Personal Skills and the (enormous) impact they have on the future development of the pilot.

Solution 1b.- Assign a standard pilot in a standard series, as a test. For example, a maximum of 77 days (1 full season) and that the user could leave the test mode whenever he wanted already with the basic knowledge acquired. In this phase you can modify the name, the pilot, change the car,... until you find what you want to stay.

Problem 2.- Your driver has just got his driver's license, at 18 years old, and you are looking for an F4 Series for him to start learning. And he has to do it alongside pilots with 30 years of experience and 15 who have already doubled him twice in the third lap. The result is absolutely disappointing. Staying race after race in the last positions is not cool. Result? You quit the game.

Solution 2a.- Create Series based on the level of the pilots. Let the rest of the grid be drivers most similar to you and you can choose to be in the lead from the 1st race. There is no greater motivation to stay in the game than competing with real chances to win right from the start.
This would force the creation of a pyramid system of classification, with ascents and descents depending on the final position.

Solution 2b.- Remove the option to create pilots at 26 years old, everyone starts with an 18 year old. You get everyone on the same path and facilitate overall learning.

End of Part One. ;)
