Press Releases - Talking to driver # 3
Talking to driver # 3
At this point I would like to present different drivers in an interview at irregular intervals, as the third driver in the interview "Rex Ritchey” (19 years/USA) (Indy Junior Series)
TD: Hello Rex, nice that you have agreed to be the next driver in my new interview series.
RR: Hi Tom
TD: Let's talk about your career so far, Rookie Series on P33, then straight to the Indy Junior Series, wouldn't a move to one of the other junior series have been better for your career?
RR: Yes, It would have, I'm planning to move to the NASCAR Truck Series Next Season.
TD: You are competing in the Indy Junior Series with your own team "ASAN RACING", how did it come about?
RR: ASAN Racing came about from a rush to get a team in for the Indy Junior Series. No other team really wanted to pick up such a young driver, So I just made my own team.
TD: You should knock on the Skoda team, they do a lot for young drivers.
TD: Ok, speaking of the team, it seems to be a good mix of managers, coaches and mechanics, are you satisfied?
RR: It's pretty good right now, It's decent for a midfield team.
TD: Now we come to your personal goals as a driver, what does the future look like for you as a driver regardless of the team? In which direction will your future path lead you?
RR: I think I might end up going up the NASCAR Junior Ladder to NASCAR Gold Cup, and doing well, is a pretty good goal.
TD: Rex, thank you for this very informative conversation, I rarely had the opportunity to speak to such a goal-oriented young driver. I wish you good luck and success in your future and, above all, an accident-free journey.
RR: Thanks, It's nice to talk to you too.
