Press Releases - Talking to driver # 2

Talking to driver # 2

At this point I would like to present different drivers in an interview at irregular intervals, as the second driver in the interview "Thorsten Trips" (F3 World Series)

TD: Hello Thorsten, nice that you have agreed to be the next driver in my new interview series.
TT: Hello Tom, thank you for letting me be your guest today.

TD: Let's talk about your career so far, Rookie Series in P12 & P10, then the Formula 3 German Series straight away in second place in season 30, why did you stay in the F3 German Series for another five years? Ok, you were always in the top 5 at the end of the season, but wouldn't moving to a higher streak have been better for your career?
TT: I have often asked myself why I drove in the series for so long. My manager at the time said that it would make sense, especially for higher sponsorship contracts, to present yourself with a good name and title for higher classes. Nothing, I have the name, not the title. But I'm working to ensure that my junior will hold it in his hands one day.

TD: Season 36 P3 and Season 37 P2 in the F3 Central European Series, Season 38 F3 World Series on P9, proves that you can be expected in any case.
TT: Oh, don't remember me at season 37. Everything went well until the car was equipped with new technology at the end of the season. Since the sponsors insisted that the test results were fantastic too, the team couldn't act otherwise. Unfortunately, the technology thwarted my plans. As everyone knows, Witti, then won the title. He was quick, I can whisper that to you. "Witti, I grant you the title with all my heart."
Then we switched to the World Series together. At the beginning there were still problems with the technology, but by the middle to the end of the season things finally went smoothly again.

TD: How are you doing now? Do you have any plans
TT: Well, let's see, this season. Everything new, except for the remaining paintwork. My goal is to get into the top 5. Then I switch to another series, Wittmann, and I won't be in a duel for a while. "Witti, you can always come for coffee." * Grins
TD: This is news, where are you going and does that mean now, Witti and you will no longer drive in the same series in the future?
TT: For God's sake you can't drive with Wittmann. No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, Nascar is trying me right now, I'll drive around a little. Witti is a formula driver, thinks, makes sense for him too, because everything I give him is a place in Formula 1. "But be warned, old man, I'm on the edge of the track :))"
TD: Speaking of Wittmann and bananas
TT: That remains a secret. I would never tell you that banana peelings fall out of the car every now and then, otherwise he'll know that's me. * winks
TD: * laughs * Well, I'm curious to see if your ways will get you back into the same series. Thorsten, thank you for this very open and funny interview. Good luck on your further path and take care, we will definitely talk to each other one time or another.

TT: Sure, you can do an interview with me and Witti together. * Laugh *
