Raymond van de Pol heeft op het circuit van Assen een top prestatie geleverd. In de U21 klasse vertegenwoordigde hij Nederland. En hoe: De kortere sprint race wist hij te winnen met een voorsprong van 12 seconden op de nummer 2. De strategie onder wisselende omstandigheden was hier doorslaggevend. ook de hoofdrace met twee pit stops was uiteindelijk een prooi voor hem.

In de tussenstand staat hij nu op een 6e plaats, en op de 3e plaats in de U21 ranking
