Please read the latest changes to our MRC forum rules.
Hello everyone.
As most of you know, there has been a decline in communication on forums recently, largely due to toxic behaviour and constant arguments. The peak of this is usually reached in the F1 thread, but some users also contribute to high tension in other threads, which in turn leads people to stop posting there because they don't want to get into the mess and/or be ridiculed by other members.
Therefore, the MRC Team has decided to introduce the following forum rules:
1. Managers will first receive an official warning if their behaviour on the forum becomes unacceptable. If the behaviour continues and they commit a second serious infraction, they will receive a forum ban until the end of the season.
2. Once the ban is lifted, they will return on probation for the following season. During that probation period, another serious violation will result in an immediate forum ban (until the end of the season) without an additional warning.
3. Forum moderators will also be encouraged to be more proactive. When discussions start becoming too heated or personal, moderators should step in early and remind users to keep the conversation civil, respectful, and focused on the topic. Small interventions can often calm discussions down before they turn toxic.
The goal with these new rules is not to punish people unnecessarily, but to create a more respectful and constructive environment for discussion. We have also agreed to grant amnesty to current forum bans.
We would also like to invite users to share feedback and suggestions on how the forum and overall community atmosphere could be improved further.
