[F1] A RENEWED & REBRANDED WAR
Over the past couple of seasons, both WAR board members and WAR fan community refreshed and became much more lively. Our popularity in MRC F1 went sky high and the events we organize (WAR Fan Championship, WAR Super Cup and the WAR Voting Points Fan Contest) have recorded all-time high participations. We had to debate among the shareholders a change in the WAR Fan Championship format as the weekly race was getting filled a couple of hours after the announcement and fans were left outside (read more on this below). And this new life was much due to the brazilian managers to which we are most thankful.
A new life, more team engagement, a new image to reflect the team's spirit. It's a small visual rebrand, as we value WAR's origins and ADN above everything, but a major translation of our renewed energy into the team's logo and car. The designer, Toturi, called for a lighter and brighter green for more vibrance and the incorporation of yellow for our newly found energy. In addiction, a clearer typography for a more modern look and straightforward communication. All in all, a more energic image, with a sense of renewal and youth. Much like with the team now.
GENTLEMEN, START YOUR (NEW) ENGINES
Season 22 brings new excitement as the teams unveil their new engines and a competitive re-shuffle can be expected. The WAR crew is confident on their new Jagwar Engine. The designers and engineers made a tremendous work and the past 2 seasons of development are likely to pay off. We believe we might be able to accomplish one of our best seasons ever to help improve and consolidate our position in F1.
THE DRIVERS
Johnny da Costa Jr will continue for his 5th season at WAR. Jose Pedro Lamy will retire and we were most pleased to sign brazilian driver Juca Macieira as his replacement. We trust this duo will bring in the driving skill to get the WAR machine past the finish line ahead of our competitors.
THE WAR FAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Our fan championship has been one of the most popular custom competitions in MRC. For season 22 we will be running it under a new format in order to be able to accommodate the massive number of drivers taking part. We will now officially separate the U21 competition from the Senior one, having the younger drivers competing in a different race. Every week, 2 tracks will be announced: one for the Senior drivers and another one for the U21. Weekly races, reports and standings will be posted, as usual, in our fan forum - windsorfans.proboards.com/
THE WAR COMMUNITY
We'll keep doing our best engage every fan and help them improve their MRC experience! It also can actually help us be more competitive. One of the things you can do to help us is by collecting voting points and donating them to us. It's absolutely free and can make all the difference.
