新闻 - #2 @ No2

#2 @ No2

A lot of pressure sits on the shoulders of Adamski's newest charger, British Rookie Noah Vale, who has shown up on occasion at the tight end of single races and custom events, but it is in a drivers series where we see just how they stack up against their counterparts.

Since launch last season, Vale has seen fit to re-brand in a brave yellow/white livery scheme under the guise of NOVA Sport, doing away with his Pepsi tagged launch outfit. But one thing remains constant in Vale's choice of number, running #2 across all disciplines.

The young Brits #2 car has been just that for the majority of the first four rounds of F3 Romania, Qualifying and finishing in 2nd place in three of the last four races, with just one oil pressure forced retirement in Istanbul last week spoiling the run.

"We knew we wouldn't be winning races, not with veteran Romain Louis seeing fit to contest in a series below his capabiliies, but to find ourselves in a regular P2 is quite a surprise. The series opening with two medium speed, flowing tracks at Crimea and Chaika was always going to suit other chassis, with Finnish driver Paananen stealing an early front row , but this was day one and we were just happy to be so high up the field. We hit the high downforce tracks when we arrived in Turkey and we knew the chassis would be better off, but to sit 2nd, 0.750 ahead of 3rd was staggering! We kept this trend this past week in Hungary and were it not for a late safety car we would have crossed the line on our own, naturally a good 30+ seconds behind Louis but +10 ahead of the rest of the field. Second place is pretty much a win to us at the moment!" said an ever-more jubilant Vale.

"The great thing about your drivers Rookie season is that you're pretty much win win all season, you have no comparable stats, no-one expects you to win and if you drag your car home in the points you've had a good day! Its nice to have such low pressure before people start to expect more of you at around 19-20 years old, especially as focus is now significantly higher on youngsters to perform with A1's Junior Series on everybody's agenda." quoted manager Adamski.

"We took a risk by-passing Rookie Series, the entry fee for F3 hit us hard but we had to take a punt on the higher prize money, top 6 will see us make a profit and we're currently a very close 4th, despite two unfortunate races. Hopefully this form will continue!"

Focus now shifts to the hybrid style track of Euro Ring, which mimics all styles of circuit in a high downforce layout as the season approaches the midway point. Hopefully the 18 year old Brit can keep bringing in the results
