NEWS: New Single Races

Hi guys! You may have noticed new single races in the available race queue over the last couple of days. Read on for details of what this is all about!

So, today I have 2 pieces of information for you all regarding new single race types...

At the moment, the recent U-20 single races are purely there for testing reasons. At the moment these Under 20 races are restricted by age only. But in the future these type of races will have further restrictions added, such as rating restrictions. These restrictions are brought in to give novice managers and novice drivers a chance at getting better results instead of racing the very top drivers from the start of your drivers career.

Points earned in these races will follow the same system as is the case at the moment.
It is currently based on how strong the field is you are up against, but as restrictions apply you will receive less points than if you went up against stronger opponents. As the points on offer in these single races are generally quite small, the difference will be negligible in the long run.

The frequency that these races will appear in the single race queue at the moment will be 2 at a time.

Quick Races/Instant Races are on the horizon and will be introduced to MRC soon.
Here is a brief outline of what is planned for these type of races:-

* Quick Races will be restricted by rating.
* Qualification will take place over 30 minutes.
* Races start within 20 minutes of the completion of qualification.
* Empty spots will be filled by bots.

That is a rough sketch of how the Quick Races will operate but we are still working on this at the moment.
