Is Osmolovsky Underrated?

There's no denying it, Sergey Osmolovsky has been stunning at times this season! No more than his Qualifying, tomorrow he'll start 3rd for the Canadian Grand prix behind the two McLaren's, IN A TORO ROSSO! This isn't the first time he's pushed the Toro Rosso higher than it should have in Quali after an 8th in China!

Now, Osmolovsky's race pace isn't as good and is yet to score this year, but perhaps a better car will solve this. He's shown he has pace but unfortunately hasn't got the car to show his full ability. Meanwhile at sister team Red Bull, De Montferrand isn't performing well! Ever since he lost a sure win in Australia this season he hasn't got back to the same form and has been by a mile second best to team-mate Grosjean!

So Is it time for Change at Red Bull and give this young Belarusian a chance? Maybe not, at the end of the day there's no guarantee his race pace is up to scratch, dropping De Montferrand who on paper is better and replacing him for someone in a smaller team like Osmolovsky is a risk. BUT, he does deserve a better drive and I would be pointing at him for teams looking for a new talent! Hopefully he can score in Canada and strengthen his claim to a better race seat next season!!
