So where exactly is the problem?

From my understanding of the auction rules anyone can bet right? SSR is based in Poland, all their owners are Polish, it's understandable that they want to keep it that way. Call it tradition or whatever, they didn't outright reject his bet they just outbid him in order to keep the team 100% Polish, 100% theirs.
Why they want that is irrelevant but it's a valid argument to outbid someone, just consider that if komanch had been rude enough not to answer AndySmokie we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Not every team wants to open their doors to everyone there're plenty of valid reasons to do that, it's not xenophobia it's a choice they made and the price they pay is having to outbid everyone which occasionally may not come cheap.

With that said it's ok for Andy to be frustrated but no one did anything xenophobic from what I can tell and it doesn't affect the F1 community at all if anything just somewhat strengthens a type of culture in F1.

In the end it's none of my business just thought I would share my thoughts

On reading this release from AndySmokie the Audi Motorsports owners were offended and outraged. This behaviour from a team at the pinnacle of our sport is disgraceful. From viewing the auction it appears that an existing Senna owner out bid an other...

Laissez Faire is fine, even in a global game. Expecting strategic bid blocking is not a clear and honorable practice though. Even if it is legally done you must ask, is it ethical? If ANY team is setting auction on an Open Market then they nee...

We've outbid some bidders as we want to keep the team Finnish. Finnish as in language, not in nationality. If someone enters our team, ALL the conversation in the team chat will be in Finnish and for someone who does not speak or understand it, it wo...
