SKY tv interview;
We recently had Lee McKenzie from SKY tv come to our world headquarters and do a interview with Tim “Hollywood” Richmond.

SKY: You are an American racing in a European series , ah actually (looks at notes) you are racing in a season series ah, Formula 3 Baltic Series. What made you decide to race this season there ?

“Hollywood”: Its a most beautiful part in the world . Honestly to answer your question is I may have been born here in the USA but my parents are from Lithuania from the war. So I was going to at least once participate in this series and do what I could to win a trophy.

SKY: And how is racing in that series?

“Hollywood”: Ha,ha ,Well you see the “locals” there are quite some competition.T.Laane of Estonia, A.Feimanis of Latvia, I.Gendrikson of Estonia are the top3 with me trailing behind by 49 points. The competition has been tough there. We've only had 1 Mechanical DNF and 2 others due to my offs that have not let us be on the top 3 of points. I knew it wasnt going to be easy , thats one of the big reasons we havent ventured up to F2 or Indycar that there is plenty of good racing and strategy we can contend with here in the F3 series.

SKY: And are you also racing in Ah (looks at notes) Ah , custom series too The Premiere Oval Series XXIV?

“Hollywood”: Yes , we are. Now we did this as a bit of a personal challenge this season. Last season we had the pleasure of running in the World Oval series twice with the second time finishing last in that series. And so this season we are in this series twice also . But we wanted to see how well we would do racing the likes R.Grosjean of France and V.Dellavega of Australia. We are also 4th in this series.

SKY: So we also hear your doing some Single Races too.?

“Hollywood”: Sometimes we haven’t been to a track for a series so we use it as a test . Sometimes its a track that comes along that’s maybe just a fun track to race. And of course there's those Historical tracks we are working towards setting a record.

SKY: Speaking of those records, you remarked back in season2 that you were going after track records and we dont show any for you?

“Hollywood”: Heh,Heh, We actually held whats considered our “home” track record at the Indianapolis Oval for 1 race . And we held the record at the presently worlds fastest track, Daytona for about a week . You know , we have actually learned quite a bit. I have been training myself in MENtal and DRIving skills and at the same time we been working with the MEC's for the pitcrew assignments so you can realize we have been very busy. But we still contend that some tracks records were set with the wrong car combo . Look at X.Liu of China , he tore ass thru a bunch of tracks setting records using some of those same car combo's we had planned at those tracks. And he actually set the bar pretty high .

SKY: SKY: So whats the plans for next season?

“Hollywood”: We're signed up for the Indycar series but we may not qualify. I dont know maybe race in the rookie series again , there's drivers there been in the series since the start , I dont know , maybe go for another shot at the F3 Baltic Series for a trophy ,I don't know.

SKY: Well whatever you decide we hope to interview again when you are champion.
