Pressmeddelanden - Early party for great struggle

Early party for great struggle

Still 2 weeks from being over, F2 Europe Series has already a winner. With 306 points (125 points ahead of the second place), Franco Pereira is the fastest driver of Formula 2 in Europe.

Franco: "It's been a hard road to ride, but we made it through and faster than we've ever thought possible. It's the result of an immense and terrific work of our crew and me. We're all thrilled and excited but I can assure you we'll not get our hands down just yet. We're working on the next races already and we're aiming high."

Words from the Portuguese legend after his last win at Nurburgring - his favorite track.

Amazingly, the only time he didn't went to the podium was last week on the Austrian track - Red Bull Ring - due to a problem with the engine oil.

Fun fact: This driver has been jumping between 1st and 2nd place (not counting said race) except in his home county. That's right, the only 2 times he got the 3rd place medal was in his own country's track - Autódromo do Estoril (Estoril's racetrack). Nostalgia calling, perhaps?

Let's hear what the manager has to say about all this:

Blazefp: "I don't know what made Edvinas Pavlovas give up at the middle of the season but that surely made things easier for us. He was our main opponent. Anyway, I just want to congratulate Franco and our entire crew for their magnificent work. This was definitely a great show of how far team effort, patience and consistency can get you - to the infinite and beyond"

Wise words coming from an 18 years old manager, 10 years younger than it's own driver.

The current season is four races to the end but we've been promised that there's still much too happen. All we can do is wait to see.

This was another report from MRC Magazine, thanks for the preference and keep your pedal to the metal.
