Pressmeddelanden - Split Garage sees different feelings

Split Garage sees different feelings

Alan Jones hasn't been able to fully come to grips with his new F2 car says manager FlyingFinn.
The former Australian champion qualified well at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne, his home track. But after that the Aussie failed to make an impression and got two DNF's to see out the week.
This is the same driver who took a memorable victory at Daytona for the Custom F3 race there by making 2 passes on the final lap.
Manager FlyingFinn: "It is obviously frustrating, but we'll push on to next week and start anew. We might as well get used to this car, we might be racing it for a while."

In other news, the team welcomed long time friends and now sister team of Allan Moffat and manager Jimmer. Moffat's cars are now run from the same (although now bigger) garage as Jones', and with the pedigree of Australian F3 champion across the garage, Moffat looks to follow in the footsteps of Jones.
Currently, Moffat leads the Australian F3 championship by 3 points after a strong weekend in which he took pole and victory in the sprint race and a second place in the feature.
