Pressmeddelanden - What is next for Biguel Maines?

What is next for Biguel Maines?

It has been a strange season for Biguel Maines on his first professional season after an amazing rookie series joining half way through.
Biguel Maines was chosen for a seat in the F3 British series after being recognised as one of the many British upcoming talents along with Solo, Brammer and fellow team mate Ray Striver.
Maines wanted to follow in his successors footsteps Miguel Baines who started in beta and was briefly number 1 in UK but cemented his place in 2nd for numerous seasons dominating UK with Guy Wellington.

Both these drivers handed their seats to Biguel and Ray to take over and what a start they have made.

How was your first professional series Maines? Did it go as you planned?

"No i didnt win... Well first of all I would like to congratulate my team mate Ray Striver on winning the series and managing to keep his cool on the last race.
My season was slower than expected I couldn't get to grips with the new MYG-HON setup which left me trailing from the start. We had trouble researching tyre temperatures which was a major struggle throughout the season. I got a win in race 5 at Donington which I thought would kickstart my season but nothing followed until the final weekend at Croft where I took pole and 2 race wins to cement 4th."

Would you class Ray Striver to be an upcoming talent in seasons to come?

"By far yes he has equalled the record for most pole positions in F3 British series and would have beat it if I didn't get pole on the final race and im still sorry for that. But I can see me and him being number 1 and 2 like our Former racers Guy Wellington and Miguel Baines."

What about the upcoming F1 auction ending. Any interest in that?

"Of course. With big ambitions and high expectations Britannia F1 team is a British run team which will hopefully show how big we can really be. Obviously auctions are still open and are in talks with some big names in Britain and will welcome all reasonable offers that can bring something to the team."

Next season? What's the plan?

"I think F2 would be a reasonable step up but maybe another F3 series if it will be more beneficial for me in the long run."

Hopefully we will see you this time next season with more trophies! See you next time

"Yeah let's get this show on the road!"
