What about bikes?
In last November, I wrote a press realease in Spanich trying to encourage people to start their career in MRC as motorcycle rider and praissing the experience of emulating Nieto or Agostini (yes, I said Nieto and Agostini, I'm not young). I didn't sucess, since there were 5 Spanish users managing a bike rider then and we are 4 now. And were are just some dozens in whole MRC.
I'll repeat some ideas I wrote them. I didn't publish in Englis and they will be new for many people.
Most people choose Circuit Racing cos there are much more races for them than for motorcycles or rally cos many users think (I've read some of them in Worldwide forum) that there are not tactics in motos or ralli and it's just seeing who run the fastest.
About first point, there are enought (even too many) season series to chose the best one for our driver, a tailored serie to optimize our rating and results.
And, about tactics, motos is not just running the fastest. Slipstream and recoil are very important and overtaking is much easier than for cars. And these reasons change tactics but don't vanish them. Our mistakes in track punish us heavy cos rivals overtake us. And caring our tires cames very important. We'll maybe take advantage saving rubber and overtaking to those who didn't. Especially when we managed to keep thei slipstream. Or we' maybe chose to spend our tires distancing a slower driver. Or try avoid our opponents to use that tactics with us. Or...
Tactics matter less than for car circuits, but still matter and have more nuances than can make it very funny
And, What about exploring new ways to build your driver? Motos are new enough to have some questions wich still are not solved. We can search for a way to defeat our opponent diferent than making the same than them but better than them. I won't call for crazy experiments but some reasoned tests are still posible for moto.
Another problem for new paths was the final decision about paths afair, creating subpaths and allowing same user to have both drivers in circuit. Add F1 as top achievement in WRC world and most users who had a second driver in motocycling or rally deleted or moved him to circuit.
Some ideas to atract new users to motocyclism could be:
-take the real racing system for series such as Superbikes.
-in a longer term, add races as Talent Cup or Endurance series. Maybe replacing others like M3 (M3 and M3 junior can merge) or any Superbike serie (even they are nice in real cycles, British and American SBK are overlapping in MRC and have 2-3 riders every season)
-adding any tactic option. The easiest for me would be the option to change Tyre Aggressivity. The same we can do but without a pit stop. I think it would make tactics more simple, but users wich didn't test moto would think different.
-the same chances to run custom series and quick races for moto3 and formula 4. Let's encourage people to test them. And stop discouraging who start with their motorcyclist and has to wait days for a custom serie fitting him.
-any previews about MotoGP teams wich have been in To-Do List for ages. No need to create them, but give us the impression that they are being meditated and cycles are not a consolation prize for those who are not good for F1.
-we all have a Formula 4 in our Garage, we can set our pit and we can design our livery. Why not our moto 3? If a user set the livery for his driver, he will test it facing Rossi, Márquez or Agostini.
