Pressmeddelanden - Weber achieved his target for Race 2 - Formula 4 Australia

Weber achieved his target for Race 2 - Formula 4 Australia

In Adelaide, Raphael Weber had to start from last place due to his retirement in race 1, but the young German qualified in 4th position and the goal of race 2 was clear.

Quote from interview after race 1 - Raphael Weber:
"In qualifying we saw what is possible and how well we are set up for this series. Our goal is to finish at least in the top 7."

Race 2 was almost twice as long as race 1, which significantly increased the chances of moving up the field. However, the goal was already achieved before Weber drove into the pits.

Weber after race 2: "The grip level was much better than in the monsoon in race 1, so I was able to prepare well for the duels and overtake the competition when the opportunity arose."

The German took 4th place in race 2 and thus made a leap from 20th place to 8th place in the championship standings.

The second motorsport week will take place in Melbourne, the Australian home of Formula 1. Perhaps Weber will have better luck there.
