Pressmeddelanden - Aston Martin Fan Championship - Season 1

Aston Martin Fan Championship - Season 1

The 1st edition of the “Aston Martin Fan Championship” has just ended, this is the 1st edition with the new team "Aston Martin" formerly known as "Tesla Racing".

Young Felipe Campolargo wins his first title! However, the fight was very close until the last race, with Egor Orudzhev having a 27 point advantage over Felipe before the last race. An error by Egor when defending against Nádia Portocarrero on the fifth lap of the last race made it impossible for Egor to win the championship. The top 3 were separated by just 26 points!

As mentioned, Felipe Campolargo won the championship (4 wins and 6 podiums), Egor Orudzhev came in 2nd (3 wins and 8 podiums) and Mauricio Cruz ended in 3rd (2 wins and 7 podiums). In 4th place came Vasco Guerra (1 win and 6 podiums), Nádia Portocarrero finished 5th (2 podiums) and Jyrki Jarvilehto Lehto Jr[ /u] in 6th (1 podium). Behind was [u]Jamie Thom, in 8th was Visvaldis Cels, in 9th was the impressive Noé Nogueira. Paul Thomas closed the top 10.

Even though Felipe won the championship, Nádia Portocarrero remains in her position as the most successful driver at Aston Martin-FC, she leads with 4053 points, 30 wins, 78 podiums, 97 top 5, 104 top 10s, 30 poles and 29 fastest laps.

In the under-23s, the title was dominated by Cupertino Jarbas with 8 wins and 7 poles ahead of Erik Rosberg.

It is the 1st title for Cupertino. The under-23 legend continues to be Tomás Gois Rocha with 3 titles. The 2nd place went to Erik Rosberg with 2 wins and 3 poles. Ludo Kartac finished in 3rd place with 6 podiums. Close behind came Simon Rasmussen with 2 podiums. In 5th place came Tomasz Kiszczak II with 3 podiums. Just ahead of the impressive young Jim Hurtubise II! In 7th place was Joaquim Agostinho, in 8th place Fredy Williams and Bernardino Campolargo in 9th place. Fred Chiea closed the top 10.

In the records table, Felipe Campolargo continues the driver with most points (2730), the most victories (26), the most podiums (45), the most top 5 (56) and the most fastest laps (34). Tomas Gois Rocha is still the driver with the most top 10 (59) and most titles (3).

With Cupertino leaving the sub-23 who will win next season? In the main class, will Felipe be able to get the 2nd title or will Mauricio Cruz or another driver win?
