All hail the Cajun Navy!

Many know me but few know I live just north of Houston some 60 miles away.. The Talk of Houston is about the great out pouring of assistance helping those in need of Flood victims and evacuating people.. So much so there was a Line of 1000 people volunteering to help today.. Just to receive assignment on where they could help.. The stories here are Not about the Coast Guard.. Not about where is the red cross or Homeland security nor even the Texas National guard there..

It's about what Houston Police and all these agencies about The Cajun Navy working with these Agencies to perform rescues... It about These People mainly from Houston but other areas coming together to take care of each other..

Perfect example is story even just today a family had to evacuate .. First they hitched a ride in Kayak.. Then in Dump Truck only to be picked up in a surburban to arrive where another family member could bring them to safety.. There thousand of more stories like this one..

I hope where ever you are in the world instead of Crying and screaming for help.. You get instead Your Own Cajun Navy Helping filling in gaps where Government is simply overwhelmed.. So your neighbors your locals and Your fellow citizens can be saved by the simple power of being neighborly!

I thank all my government offices assisting But thank My Fellow Texans my Fellow Americans and THE CAJUN NAVY for bringing smiles in a time of hardship!
