Everythings Coming Up Hendrix!

The end of season 13 was a very good one for 20 year old Eric Hendrix. Hendrix, who recently celebrated his 20th birthday, rose to 676th in the world rankings and 36th among Americans this season. In addition to his second straight 9th place finish in the F3 American series and getting his first career podium, his manager was just named as the President of the USRA.

"This came as a complete surprise to me. I'm completely humbled that my fellow countrymen chose me to lead them," said Hendrix's manager ablesser88. "I promise to do my best and justify your decision to elect me."

Red Eagle Racing also has announced that they have picked up sponsorship on their racecars, as well as purchased a motorcyle. All 3 cars will be sponsored by Budweiser and will sport the #88.

"Well 88 was my number when I was driving for RER back in the day, and was the number my father raced in local contests," said Competition Director Kurt Morrison. "The cars will have a very similar look to that of Dale Earnhardt Jr's car from the DEI days. And on the topic of the motorcycle, we figured that it was time to expand our horizons. I have discussed the move with Eric, and he's ecstatic for the opportunity."

Hendrix noted that he is excited for the new opportunity. He's also grateful for the new sponsorship. "I'm glad I'm getting a sponsor. I've seen the prototypes for the designs, and they look excellent."

When asked about their goals for this upcoming year, Morrison said that he wants Hendrix to finish in the top 5 in the F3 American Series. "A couple of wins wouldn't hurt, either"

It is clear that some interesting days are coming up for Hendrix and Red Eagle Racing. Hendrix appears to have a bright future, and season 14 might be the season that brings him to the next level.
