Fox Claims First Career Win!

In what has turned out to be a really good week, possibly a defining week in Redmond Fox's career, we take a brief look at the two Rookie Series races he was involved in this week.

In the sprint race, Fox qualified in pole position and was desperate to claim a first career win.
However, the pacey Swede, Percy Johansson claimed the win leaving Fox to settle with a second placed finish.

In the feature race though, the tables were turned.
Fox lined up on the grid behind Johansson, ad it was his mental fortitude that seen him take home a first ever win in the longer race.

"I'll remember Interlagos for the rest of my life, the race, and the wild, wild parties we had afterwards!" stated a rough-looking Fox who had a few words for us before boarding a plane in Sao Paulo International Airport.

"I'm going t need a few good nights rest after that, it was completely mental to be honest"

Fox, draped in the Irish tricolour and with a beer in hand, strode away down the terminal like a man who just won the lottery.

Fox's next test comes at the Czechoslovakian track, Most.
It's a track Fox knows well having raced twice there in the opening round of this seasons Rookie Series.
He'll be hoping to be more consistent on his next visit!
