Africa Formula 2 Series

This season of the Africa Formula 2 Series has been very interesting. Stainslaw Bum of Poland has been on a tear as of late, and is currently in the lead by exactly 100 points over Artur Boluck of Poland. The latest race winner, Sonny Monroe of the USA, has been the underdog in this series. He came in at the beginning of the series with the 25th best Driver Rating, and remember, that is our of 30. Now, he is currently 7th, with a 998.421 rating, and is currently 3rd in the standings with 161 points, just 2 points out of second. Robert Kubica, as you all may know, is sitting in 4th with 152 points. It was expected he would completely dominate the series, given that he is 8th in the World in Driver Ranking, but lately he has been slipping. One of the biggest disappointments of this season is Tommi Hakkinen. He came into the series with high hopes, but due to poor qualification in the early stages of the season, he has been involved in wrecks that he didn't start. He is currently in 11th with 56 points.

Just a shout out: Everyone watch out for Sonny Monroe! If you look at his stats, you will see that he is a very consistent racer, and can race against the big name racers. Watch out in the Indy Series next season!
