Comunicate de presă - Indy series interview
Indy series interview
In our final press release we look at the Indy Car series. Just like with Formula 1 and Nascar we asked the top 10 drivers the following questions.
Question 1: Are you pleased with how the season has gone for you so far?
Question 2: What is your goal for this season?
These were their replies.

Guido Di Rado
Currently ranked 1st at 329 points
Yes, i'm quite satisfied with the season so far, if I didn't retire in texas my season would have been perfect
My goal is victory!
Rocco Rapido
Currently ranked 4th at 227 points
Mostly yes. After all, I finished several races on the podium, I would never have expected this at the beginning of the season. Unfortunately I already have 2 DNF despite low risk. Last season, I also had bad luck with DNF. I hope to reduce this rate in the future.
I would be satisfied with a place in the top 5. If I could reach the podium I would be overjoyed.
Rangi Whakatau Pootiki
Currently ranked 5th at 213 points
The season has been disappointing so far, we've had a string of failures which has dropped us out of title contention for the moment. We will remain positive and hope to have a good run of results and be in a stronger position for the second half of the season.
Ultimately we would like to win the title, however from our current position I think realistically second would be a good achievement.

Guido Di Rado is the favorite to win the Indy series. It's no surprise that the F1 Europe team was so eager to recruit him. With a 68 point lead on Sergey Osmolovsky, it'll be his season to lose.
The battle for second and third is not so clear cut. With Jaroslav Kadeřábek, Rocco Rapido and Rangi Whakatau Pootiki all within 50 points of Sergey, nothing has been decided. All four will fight their hardest to defeat their rivals.
With 8 races still to come nobody at the front will feel too secure. We can be sure that nobody is going to give a quarter in the second half of the season. We wish everyone the best of luck.
