Comunicados de Imprensa - Final week for Brazilian main competitions
Final week for Brazilian main competitions
As the Season 24 reaches its 10th week, the mains Brazilian competitions also enter their decisive races.
With the current champ Vicente Reckziegell underperforming, the title for the 9th edition of the Brazilian F3 Championship will be lifted by a new name in its history. It's down to the mathematics the challenge between season leader Bruno Correa (182 points) against the Brazilian ranking leader Roger Relâmpago (155). With the 27 point gap, Bruno must rely on its already reknown regularity to score at least a 10th place to swipe the cup. For Relâmpago will have to cross his fingers wishing for a DNF from Bruno, and also claiming the win with the extra points from pole position and fastest lap. This combination will find both drivers tied at 182 point, with Roger taking the cup due to more wins.
Fontana Motorcycle Course will be the stage of this epic confront.
Brazilian Stock Car (P3 class) is finishing it's 3rd championship with Roger Relâmpago, current holder of the titles from both previous editions leading what seemed to be an easy ride at start, after 6 wins in a row. However, stunning performance from Rafael Drummond placed him mere 10 points behind the leader (152 x 142) for the final race at Ligniéres, France.
And last but not least, we have the final week for Brazilian Superbike series in its 5th edition. Running champ Bruno Monteiro leads with 389 points over Roger Relâmpago (354) in his claim for a 2nd-in-a-row title over the champion of the 3rd edition. The bikes will met at Fontana Motorcycle Course for the showdown.
Stay tunned.
