Red Bull announces season 17 driver line-up
Red Bull Racing Vaillante F1 just announced their driver line-up for season 17.
Romain Louis Grosjean Jr, who's currently leading Formula 1 series by 1 point, will be retained by the team for 4th season in a row. In his Formula 1 career he won 7 races, and started from pole 12 times.
Philippe de Saint-Germain Jr, 35, will no longer race with the team after 8 successfull seasons. He won 5 back-to-back championships with the team and stands 4th in standings, 72 points behind leader - Romain Louis Grosjean Jr. Frenchman won 48 races with the team and started from pole 75 times and tops Formula 1 statistics.
He also hinted, he could retire from motorsport at the end of the season.
Second race driver will be rookie in Formula 1, Alexandre De Montferrand, aged 27. He's currently 4th in Indy series standings, winning 1 race and clinching four additional podiums. Until now, he won Formula 2 Europe series, Formula 2 World series and multiple trophies from custom series.
Only 3 teams are yet to confirm their drivers for season 17, Trabant F1 Racing Team, Ljuti Krajišnici Racing and HamrHedZ Carriage WerkZ.
